We're Hiring: Accounting Lead (Remote – 5 Days/Week)
Location: Remote (Work from Home) | based in Egypt
Work Days: Monday to Friday

We're seeking an experienced and proactive Accounting Lead to head our remote accounting team. If you have a strong accounting background and leadership skills, and you're ready to manage and scale processes in a fast-paced environment — this is for you!
- Lead and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including AR, AP, payroll, and reconciliations
- Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, including VAT and tax regulations
- Implement and improve accounting processes, controls, and systems
- Provide strategic financial insights and partner with leadership on budgeting and forecasting
- Supervise and mentor junior and senior accountants
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and external consultants
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain the integrity of financial data and records
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books)
- Strong knowledge of VAT and tax filing procedures (especially in UAE, if applicable)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
- 100% remote role (Monday to Friday)
